About Us
St Andrew's Community Network began in 2002 as part of St Andrew's Church's desire to play it's part in helping its community to be strengthened and built up. It started as a 6 month pilot project, with one full time researcher, and then developed into company (limited by guarantee) in it's own right the following year. It is a registered charity with its own Board of Directors. We now have 4 full time and part time staff and around 40 volunteers working across 12 activities.
We aim to transform our community by changing lives and building community. We aim to do this by working in the following five areas;
- Strengthening Families
- Promoting Good Money Management
- Developing Life Skills
- Addressing Mental health Issues
- Providing a Meeting Place
We are always looking to develop new services and activities so do please keep checking this site for new developments.
