St Andrew's Community Network began in 2002 as part of St Andrew's Church's desire to play it's part in helping its community to be strengthened and built up. It started as a 6 month pilot project, with one full time researcher, and then developed into company (limited by guarantee) in its own right the following year.
It is a registered charity with its own Board of Directors, made up from a mixture of local people, St. Andrew's church members, and ex-service users from within our various activities. Our registered charity number is 1105307
We now have 5 paid staff members and 40 regular committed volunteers working across a range of activities.
We aim to transform our community by changing lives and building community. We aim to do this by working in the following five areas;
- Strengthening Families
- Promoting Good Money Management
- Addressing Mental health Issues
We aim to responsive to the needs of our community, so are always looking to develop new services and activities so do please keep checking this site for new developments.
