The team is made up of across section from the Church,  just the average person who blends in with the crowd.Their names and a few words of why they feel called to go to Malawi are as follows:
 

  •  Lynne Richards (appointed team leader), single mum of 3 works with the hard to reach people out in the community. Part of the prison ministry within the church. She feels God is calling her to widen her territory, he is also going to soften her heart to the world around her
     
  • John Ford (appointed Pastoral Leader),single guy works with post office, John helps with the running of Rock Solid children work in the church. He feels God wants him to step out of the boat.
     
  • Dave Dainty , single Granddad ,works with the youth in  Alsop school . Runs the boys club at Church. Dave say's when I first walked into St Andrews they where showing a video about Malawi, I saw was the children and knew I had to go there and be part of it.
     
  • Rachel Smith, she and Martin have been courting for a year now, She has just finished an urban Church  youth workshop out in the community . Also helps runs the boys club at church. Rachel is putting herself in Gods' hands to do want he wants with her.
     
  • Leanne Messham,young single woman just sat her A levels, She helps with running of children's groups at New Wine. Leanne states that after coming back from Poland knew Malawi was the next step , she has had many bridges to cross just to get to the starting line.
     
  • Martin Don,Courting with Rachel, works at RLUH as a Health Care Assistant, also involved in running the boys club within the Church. Martin said he wants to help people step into the boat that he is in.
     
  • Margaret Carol, single mum of 1 , she works within Health and Safety sector at Bootle, involved with breakfast club on a Saturday morning at the Church , Margaret say's she is open minded and called to the work.
     
  • Ian Williams, married  to Nicky with 3 children. He works for a charity maintaining the old railway foot path  now known as  the "Raller", Involved with the worship and Cell running. Ian wants to share his heart and the love it contains for life with the people of Malawi.
